The best case just got better!
Sexy design, easy installation, bundled 140mm fans (ability to add four more)
Screws are a bit difficult to fit due to the powder coating
Ever since CoolerMaster announced that they would be launching a sequel to the CM690 last year, gamers and enthusiasts around world (me included) have been super excited at the thought that there could be something better than the CM690 for that price. CoolerMaster promised many improvements over the original model, mostly from user feed back, and promised a better chassis. And you know what; they've pulled it off in spades.
For those who didn't get the memo, the CM690 remains till date one of the best mid-range gaming cases ever. It combines many of the features found in higher end cases, like official support to comfortably house two graphics cards, easy tray style hard drive installation, ability to install six 120mm fans, plenty of space for large radiators and an overall kick-ass design. This case isn't meant for everyone though. If you are someone who feels a cabinet should not cost more than a grand then look away.
The first to come out from their 2010 chassis line up is the CM690 II Plus. There are a couple of variants actually, with the 'Advanced' version being the flagship that has an external hard drive dock. So far it's just the CM690 II Plus that's coming to the Asia Pacific regions, so we may not see the 'Advanced' version here. Even so, apart from the external hard drive dock, the features are pretty much the same in Plus version.

Bundle
The chassis comes with an instruction manual, plenty of screws, 3.5" to 2.5" bracket for installing a floppy drive or a fan controller. There's also a dust filter for the power supply, which was missing in the first CM690.
